The food~ Secret ingredient: LOVE! From the buffet breakfast, lunch and A la carte dinner, you can't go wrong! Soooooo DELICIOUS and UNIQUE!!!Īt the Mexican restaurant, everyone were extremely friendly and attentive! From the host Ema, and all of the waiters: Especially Felipe and Gerardo! They would see me coming, knew I loved sitting outside ( view of the ocean) and would run every time, to help me with my plate, and they also remembered my favorite drink ( classic margarita < AMAZING) ( I went to the Mexican restaurant 5 out of the 6 days) highly recommended! Authentic Mexican cuisine, that's not being served in the States. This service gives you access to the VIP area on the beach, that offers umbrellas and hammocks, turn down service, beach bag, 25 minute massage, amazing chocolates daily, wine, premium alcohol drinks, concierge service that books your restaurants if needed. If you're able to afford it, I recommend upgrading to the concierge level. The rooms had sea views that would take your breath away! By the way, they all faced the ocean! From greeting you, all throughout the resort, to remembering every bit of detail about your drink and food preferences. The lounge by the lobby is a popular hang out in the late evening and offered some great entertainers.Where do I begin? I am still trying to get off cloud 15, because I am way past cloud 9! This resort, from the minute I entered, to my departure, I felt nothing but satisfaction! Each and everyone of the staff members were absolutely eager to make me feel as if I was the only guest at their service. The entertainment was fine, some good evening but not well attended. Quite disappointing, we won't spend the money again.
What we didn't like was the offer of only champagne for dinner, we thought we should have been offered a wine pairing or possible special starter drinks for the special evening. We felt very rushed, even though we were the last to leave.
Its quite expensive, but did not hold up to our expectations. The only knock we had about food was our romantic meal on the beach. We loved the food, great selection and the outstanding service continued at meal time.
The pools loungers are more in demand of course, but also have nice cushions and lots of umbrellas. The beach was the best sand we'd experience, the staff is more than willing to bring you an umbrella immediately, there are lots of loungers with nice cushions. If you require anything in your room, room service brought it up immediately,
Our room was excellent, it was clean and modern, the amenities in the rooms where prefect, a hairdryer, flat iron, the shampoos and soaps were great. We met the GM, Leslie, who seems to have a great relationship with her staff, and is as pleasant as they all are. For sure, the first thing I have to say is the staff is amazing! All are friendly and more than willing to make sure you have a great stay.
